Terms
Sample terms for a fictional company. A real operator would have these written for the country it trades in.
Bookings
A booking is a place on a named walk on a named day. Choosing a day holds the places for ten minutes while you add your details and pay; you may extend the hold once. The booking is confirmed when your payment is taken and you are given a booking reference, stamped on the page and sent by email. If the hold runs out the places are released, and if a payment reaches us after that and the walk has filled, we refund it in full. Groups are eight guests at most, and six on the printing workshop. You do not need an account to book.
Prices
Prices are per guest, in US dollars, and are final: nothing is added at the end. Other currencies shown on the site are approximate conversions from a dated rate, and are not what you are charged. Tax is included where the law of the place requires it. Cards and PayPal are taken by PayPal or Stripe on their own pages; we never see a card number.
Changes and cancellation
You may cancel, and we may cancel or move a walk if the weather or the city makes it unsafe. What is refunded, and when, is in the cancellation policy.
Guests
Tell us about anything that affects how you walk, eat or sit before the day. Follow your guide at temples, on the road and on water. Children come with an adult who stays with them. Respect the places we visit and the people in them: ask before you photograph someone.
Liability
We take reasonable care, and carry the insurance the law asks for. We are not responsible for things outside our control, such as a closed temple, a bridge shut for repairs or a storm. Nothing here limits what the law does not allow to be limited.
The law
These terms are governed by the law the operator names when it replaces this sample.
